This policy explains what information Freight Nexus collects when you use the platform, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It covers clients, transporters, drivers, and company administrators using Freight Nexus in Namibia and the wider region.
We collect information you give us directly, and some that's generated by using the platform:
Freight Nexus is a marketplace connecting independent clients and transporters — by the nature of the service, some information is necessarily visible to the other party on a job: company name, driver name and photo, vehicle details, and quote pricing. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share your information with advertisers.
Compliance and verification documents are visible only to your own company and to Freight Nexus administrators reviewing your verification status — not to other companies on the marketplace.
Freight Nexus does not process payments directly. Invoices generated on the platform are a record of what's owed between a client and transporter; the actual payment is arranged and settled between those two parties outside the platform.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Section 7.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls that restrict who can see your company's information. No system is completely immune to risk, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password on your account.
You can:
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details in Section 9.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
