About Freight Nexus
Freight Nexus was built because finding a truck in Africa still means phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and hoping someone answers. We believe the continent's freight industry deserves better — and we're building it.
The problem
A logistics manager in Windhoek needs a tanker on short notice. She calls three transport companies. One doesn't answer. One doesn't have a truck available. The third gives a verbal quote and says they'll confirm tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a transporter in the same city just delivered to Windhoek and is driving back to the coast tomorrow — empty. He has no easy way to advertise his available capacity, so 45 000 litres of unused truck heads home earning nothing.
This happens across southern Africa, every day, at massive scale. It's inefficient, expensive, and entirely solvable.

Our mission
Our mission is to make Africa's freight industry more efficient, more transparent, and more connected — by building the digital infrastructure it never had.
Freight Nexus is not just a load board. It's a full Freight Operating System: from the moment a business needs transport, to the moment an invoice is paid and a delivery is confirmed. Every stakeholder — shipper, transporter, dispatcher, driver — has a purpose-built portal.
Bidirectional marketplace
Loads find trucks. Trucks find loads. Both sides of the market are first-class.
Empty Return Marketplace
Africa's first marketplace for return-leg capacity. Turn every delivery into two jobs.
Compliance on autopilot
Document management, expiry tracking, and alerts — built in, not bolted on.
Real-time everything
Live tracking, instant quote notifications, real-time status updates.
Built for Africa
Cross-border corridors, local regulations, works on any device — even on slow connections.

Our vision
2026
Dominate Namibia + South Africa. Launch Zimbabwe and Angola. 1 000 active transport companies.
2027
Expand to East Africa: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda. Launch Freight Nexus Finance — freight invoice financing.
2028
100 000+ loads processed per month. 10 000+ transport companies. The default freight platform for southern and east Africa.
Africa's freight industry moves billions of dollars of goods every year. It deserves digital infrastructure that matches that scale. That's what we're building.
